Kevin Odongo Okoth

An electrical engineering student. Prior to being elected the Chairman, he worked for three years as an editor of the association's quarterly journal, The Student Engineer. Kevin has shown great leadership qualities a fact that has seen him hold different leadership positions in the University and in the Youth Organizations in the country. Kevin is passionate about Entrepreneurship and the Youth. This has seen him try his hand on different business start-ups and seeks to empower the youth through information gathering about opportunities available for the youth. He is a student member of IEEE, IEK and AAK. Kevin has interned at Kenya Railways Corporation as an Electrical Engineer. He has also worked as a students' champion for Centurion Systems and a brand ambassador for Africa Talent Bank. His main focus will be to make ESA more vibrant and more inclusive in the five departments of Engineering.

Jackson Kitili Mwendwa
Vice Chairman

A finalist Electrical Engineering student with a wide range of interests. He maintains his position as the Vice-Chairman of the association having served in the same position in the 2014- 2015 academic year. He has worked at Equity Bank and currently is involved at Geo-max Consulting Engineers as an intern.

Mungu Radiance Rabillo
Secretary General

This finalist Civil and Construction Engineering student whose first name is the Swahili for God does not have his name as the only unique thing about him. He has worked at Saimu Company Ltd. Before he was voted in as the Secretary General of ESA, he served in ACES (Association of Civil Engineering Students) and SoNU secretariat. He is a student leader with a heart for the people he serves.

Elizabeth Munini Wandeto
Finance Secretary

Elizabeth Wandeto does not only know about Mechanical Engineering which she studies, but also knows and does her accounting well. She is an honest and accountable Finance Secretary. She served in the same position in the 2014/2015 academic year. She is tasked with ensuring the association manages its scarce financial resources for optimum gain.

Ezekiel Oduor Odede
Social Affairs Secretary

Ezekiel is a Civil and Construction Engineering student. Previously, he served as the Vice-Academic Affairs Secretary in the 2014-2015 academic year. He has worked as an intern with KeNHA and was involved with the China Roads and Bridges Corporation in the building of the Nairobi southern bypass.

John Thirima Gachinu
Social Affairs Secretary

John is a Civil and Construction Engineering student. Before being elected as the academic affairs secretary, he showed a passion for ESA activities and contributed regularly to the Student Engineer magazine. He is a member of professional bodies such as Architectural Association of Kenya. He believes in a society where people are responsible for each other as much as they are for themselves. He aspires to become and practice as one of the engineers contributing to the betterment of the society.

Stephen Kidenge
Vice-Academic Affairs Secretary

Stephen is an Environmental and Bio-systems Engineering student. He has served in leadership positions in Environmental and Bio-systems Engineering Students Association (EBESA) prior to being elected to be the vice-academic affairs secretary of ESA. He is a tech-savvy blogger who believes information is power.

Collins Muigai Njathi
Publicity Secretary

Collins is a finalist Mechanical Engineering student who loves science and his passion for engineering comes from the interest of seeing component parts coming together to do something that each part would not do ordinarily. He particularly loves design part of engineering. He enjoys playing/watching football and tennis. When he is not in class or not involved in soccer match, you would probably catch him reading novels in his room or hanging out with friends. Collins believes giving back is part of one's duties in life and he believes that someday in the future he will be a philanthropist giving back to the society.

Farhiya Jarso Abdi
Geospatial and Space Technology Engineering Rep

Farhiya is a Geospatial and Space Technology Engineering student. She is a hardworking lady who works to get what she wants. Prior to being nominated to represent Geospatial in the ESA exec board, she served in Rotaract Club as a leader. She is the current President Elect of the Rotaract club of the University of Nairobi. She has also continues serving as the assistant class representative.
