Invitation to Oil and Gas Public Lecture



The University of Nairobi in collaboration with the Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) invites you to a first public lecture series entitled 'The Oil and Gas Sector in East Africa Region: Challenges and Opportunities' on July 1, 2016 at Taifa Hall from 8:30 am to 11:00 am.

The Chief Guest will be Hon. Charles Keter, Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Energy & Petroleum accompanied by technocrats from the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum and Oil industry partners. All are Welcome!!!

DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION: NAIROBI INNOVATION WEEK

The committee of the Nairobi Innovation Week would like to remind interested researchers that the deadline for submission of abstracts is 3rd June 2016.

This deadline will not be extended.

The best papers will be submitted for publication in a special edition of two international journals.

Other accepted papers will be published in the Nairobi Innovation Week conference proceedings to be distributed during the event on 3rd August 2016.

The National Science week is Kenya's annual event that celebrates achievements in science, technology and innovation. This important event is coordinated by National Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation (NACOSTI) in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST).

This year's National Science Week will be from 16th -20th May 2016 at the KICC in Nairobi. The event is expected to attract national regional and international participants. It will comprise exhibitions, robotics and conference.

Staff members and students are encouraged to participate in the National Science Week either as exhibitors or to give presentations at the conference.
